There were mad, mad, mad amounts of people as the zoo. When we arrived I was thanking God for allowing us to have the Zoo membership because the line to get tickets was so long. We decided to rent an additional stroller since I only brought one and it was the smartest thing we did besides not plan to eat lunch there.
My mom packed sandwiches, I brought snacks and water, and we were set to go. We actually had a nice time once we were inside and moving!
The kids played on the playground tree house first then to the splash pad to play in the water! The animals were the last thing on their minds. After cooling off we zipped over to the "dragon" and then to the Monkeys.
A quick lunch and off to the zebras. By this time Trace had found a map and located where we were. So smart that boy. He then planned for us to see the zebra and the giraffes and he wanted to go to the Rhinos but we just couldn't manage making the trek around to the rear of the zoo for the Rhino's. They were fine with it.
They went to see snakes while I fed Westin and we made a quick pause to see the Koi pond before heading back to the car. Their reward for being good....Slushes from Circle K. My mom's treat. They loved it of course and crashed when we got home around 2:00pm. It was a good day!
