Justin's new, completed project. We sold our pub table and replaced it with this 1979 table. He resurfaced, stained and clear coated it! It is awsome.
Well, if you live within even a five mile radius of our house you will know that Fall is here. My children have been outside everyday, twice a day for the past week riding bikes, screaming, laughing and having fun! It is crazy awesome to be back outside, the heat breaking, turning off the AC (praise the Lord for my AC bill), and putting on some Sun without burning. Brynn is an outdoorsy girl already. She loves it outside and scrambles to get to the door everytime is opens. She will come wailing down the walkway making sure you know she wants to go outside too. She is a very vocal, loud little girl, but who would have expected differently!
We have these great neighbors (2 boys and 2 girls) in our col-de-sac that the kids love to play with. They are older kids, ages ranging from 12-16. But, they love playing with the boys and the boys love them. They ride their bikes over and play with chalk and just chat it up. The boys will ride their bikes and our little boys try to follow and race with them. It is so fun and they really enjoy it. Because the boys ride their bikes out there, Cole has taken a new liking to his bike he got for his birthday. He is now a great little rider. I'm not sure the training wheels will be coming off anytime soon but he does pretty good!
We joined the YMCA also this past month and have found it to be so, so fun. It has been such a good decision for our family. I meet Justin after work (around 4:45ish) and we check all the kids into childcare, while we spend 30-60 minutes working out then we all go swimming. They heat their pool year round so it is nice and warm. The kids have really become excellent swimmers. It is family friendly, fun, and we hope to maybe even participate in some kiddos classes this winter. Cole wants to start with Karate. We'll see! That would probably be good for him.
The boys can officially name all colors, draw circles and T's, trace letters/shapes you draw (with a rare straight line but they try) and count to ten. They can also sing about half the alphabet on a good day but maybe not in key! They can sin Jesus Loves Me, I Know You from Sleeping Beauty, I've got Joy, Lay Your Hands on Me God, Good Morning, Tingalayo, and maybe a few more I'm missing.
We are excited about the coming seasons. We don't have many plans but the kids are really a lot fun now and we love being home with them!

Thank goodness for fall! We are loving being outside too :) I'll have to bring Evan up on the Friday and let them all play outside! Table looks great!
