On Friday night they came to the house and the kids played until we were ready for dinner. We then went had a wonderful dinner at the Brewery at Desert Ridge. It was delicious. The kids did great at dinner and we got to do a lot of visiting.
The next day we picked them up and headed out to the train park in Scottsdale to ride the train and play on the playground then drove over to Turf Paradise for lunch and a few horse races. The kids had fun watching the horses race and Bobby and Alisa even won a little change placing a bet or two.
The weather was perfect while they were here and we were so blessed to have them visit. Alisa cooked a scrumptious dinner of Salmon and Steak for us that night at the house while the kids watched a movie. We met them at their hotel the next morning for breakfast before their flight home which left around 11:00am.
It was a quick visit but a nice one and we always hope to see them soon.
