What They All Can Do

From time to time I like to journal about what the boys can do, so I don't forget one day how cute they really are at this stage of life.

Coley-He is speaking compound sentances now which is crazy to hear the things that come out of his mouth. Usually once a day he says something that takes me by surprise. For example: "I don't want to take a bath because I want to color a little bit." "The babies are getting my tools. I need to put them up high". At 2 1/2 years old he can ride his scooter and a bike all the way to the park in our neighborhood. He can sing about 10 songs or more which always warms our hearts. He can play his guitar and sing songs at the same time and love to hit the high note at the end! He loves to play any kind of ball with daddy-basketball, soccer, t-ball...but always his way! He can do puzzles and matching games with ease. He loves to count how many things there are and after 13 always come eleventeen *his favorite number. He is great at following directions and helping mommy with the babies or cleaning up. He loves to clean around the house with his vaccum and broom, water bottle and towel. He loves friends and his brothers. He loves to see motorcycles and big trucks and ride his quad. He is such a boy.

Brody-what a sweetie. He is our passive guy and takes everything in stride most of the time. He loves to hug and give big open mouth kisses. He loves to dance whenever there is music and laughs at just about anything. He crawls a little crooked which is so stinkin' cute. He has started standing on his own and trying to take steps. He loves to eat, pretty much anything, and put anything he can into his mouth! He has been attached to daddy, saying da-da these days and pappa which is funny b/c Trace loves Grammy. So it is pretty balanced around here. He likes to carry around and chew on anything that has a top he can pop open like lotion tubes. He loves the bath and to rub his belly when he's naked. He loves to play chase and wrestle Cole.

Trace-what an energetic little guy. He is more aggressive and outspoken. He loves to inititate talk or affection. He is trying to walk and takes great pride in being able to stand up on his own. He says da-da too and does a lot of babbling. He like anything Cole is playing with and often tries to take it away. He likes to eat cheerios and apples. He likes to chase after Brody around the house. He likes to put anything he can into his mouth and often you will find him with a runny nose since he hasn't stopped teething in months. He likes shoes and books. We often find him sitting with a book and flipping the pages. He can throw a heck of a fit when he doesn't get things his way but I think it is cute...for now. He likes cars and things that make music.

They are all so fun. They each have distinct personalities but are also so similiar that it is amazing to watch them grow and develop. Trace and Cole seem to have a special little bond while Cole and Brody like to wrestle. We are enjoying this age. The twins often take things from one another and have started expressing disatisfaction with one another when applicable. We have to keep all the doors closed b/c they love the rooms and getting into trash, toilet paper, toilet water, pulling clothes off hangers and much more! They are troublesome pair when they put their minds to it:) They loves to bite with their new teeth and blow raspberries on bellies. It is awesome to see them turn into boys right before our eyes. Soon they will be running!
